We have made this short tutorial in order to instruct people in the dishonest craft of the media. They report things in a way to misrepresent, to malign, to obfuscate, to make good appear evil and evil appear good.
In this 7-minute video, we walk you through the process where they maligned and misrepresented Pastor Matt Trewhella by removing key things he said and adding things from others. We show you what he actually said – and show you how the media reported it.
The goal of such “reporting” is to make other people fearful to speak out lest they are vilified and misrepresented. But you must speak out because silence aids and abets tyranny.
Our hope is that this will make you more discerning when watching or reading the media reports.
The doctrine of the lesser magistrates is demonstrated by the interposition of lesser civil authorities. When the superior authority (like a governor or federal judiciary) acts lawlessly – it is the duty of the lesser magistrates to interpose and not obey their unlawful actions. The lesser magistrate doctrine was first formalized by Christian men in 1550, but has also been seen in non-Christian nations showing it is natural to man.
